And just like that… the most wonderful time of the year has come to a close. I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and enjoyed any other holidays or fun traditions you celebrate! The holiday season is my absolute favorite and I’m always so sad when it ends. This year was one for the books - heaps of holiday cheer and festivities and family fun and I’m excited to share my annual Christmas gift wrapping with you all!
As you may or may not already know, wrapping gifts is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. I love getting to add my own special touches to each gift to truly make them pop! I used a whopping seven different styles of wrapping paper this year that all had a very rustic feel to them. I traditionally am not a fan of black for Christmas time, but I found some super cute paper styles with black in it that I just couldn’t resist going for! Three of the styles I used are leftover from previous years, with the addition of four new ones from Home Goods - the buffalo plaid paper, the diagonal plaid with a pop of green paper, the black trees on white paper, and what I call the “Santa’s goodies” paper. The other reused styles are from Target, Michael's, and Home Goods.
I had tons of gift tags left over from last year as well that I got from TJ Maxx, but I was happy I could still use them because they are just so darn cute and went perfectly with the theme I was going for this year! I used a few different types of red, gold, black, and burlap-colored ribbon that all came together in a handy dandy little pack I got from Michael's. Andddd last but not least, I topped off some of the gifts with some fresh pine and candy canes.
Here are a few photos I snapped of the final products. I hope you enjoy them - maybe they can even serve as inspiration for your future wrapping!
