Happy New Year’s Eve! I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and enjoyed any other holidays or fun traditions you celebrate! I’m a festive fanatic and love the holiday season so so much. So, I’m super excited to share my annual Christmas gift wrapping with you all!
Wrapping gifts is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. One of my favorite quotes is, “It’s not about how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.” I love being creative and adding unique touches to each gift to make them special! I used 5 different styles of wrapping paper this year. I usually go for the rustic meets farmhouse meets a lil’ bit of modern look when it comes to wrapping paper styles. Two of the styles I used are hammy-downs from previous years, which include the grey paper with buffalo plaid reindeer and the beige paper with Christmas trees (both from Michael’s). The 3 new ones are all from Home Goods - the green plaid paper, the red plaid paper, and the vintage cars paper. Can you tell how much I love plaid?! If I had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be the vintage cars with Christmas trees on top. If you look closely, you can even see Santa going for a joyride!
The gift tags I used this year are also from Home Goods. They came in a pack of 4, which included different patterned Christmas trees that were solid red, solid green, simple plaid, and buffalo plaid. I reused a few different types of red, green, gold, black, and burlap-colored ribbon from last Christmas that all came together in a pack from Michael's. Last but not least, I added a fun, festive touch to some of the gifts with fresh pine and yummy candy canes. Candy canes make for such a cute accessory and are the perfect little treat to add that your loved ones can enjoy while opening their gifts.
Here are the final products. I hope you enjoy them - maybe they can even serve as inspiration for your future wrapping!
