Hi everyone! I’ve been wanting to start doing these kinds of posts for a while now and am excited for my first one! I’ll be starting a tradition to share a ‘favorites’ post at the end of every month. These posts will include random things that I loved that month, like nifty Amazon purchases, awesome store finds, food, music, and more!

1. “Look on the Bright Side” Mug
I got this adorable mug from TJ Maxx for 4 bucks! As soon as I saw it… I knew I had to have it. I’m a bit of a crazy mug lady and have quite the insane collection right now. But this one really spoke to me because I know this upcoming semester will be a tough one. And what better way to remind myself to always look on the bright side than with a cute mug while I’m sippin’ my coffee or tea?!
2. Hydroflask Water Bottle
I made the investment of ordering this water bottle earlier this month and am SO happy I did! It’s a 40 oz. bottle, so it’s been helping me be on my water game and stay hydrated. I only have to refill it twice to get my gallon in for the day. For some reason, I drink water a lot more consistently when I can sip it through a straw, so this style of water bottle is perfect for me. You just pop the mouth piece up straight from the lid, which is connected to a straw on the inside - and BOOM it’s ready to drink. It also comes with a loop to hold it, so I can take it with me wherever I go. It keeps my drinks hot or cold literally allllll day long and my ice even stays solid in it overnight. I LOVE IT!!

3. Reusable Metal Straws
I’m in love with this metal straw set I ordered from Amazon. It comes with 12 different straws - 3 long straight straws, 3 long bent straws, 2 regular straight straws, 2 regular bent straws, and 2 extra wide straws (perfect for smoothies). It also comes with 2 straw cleaners and a little to-go bag to hold everything. I keep them in a little mason jar next to my ‘smoothie station’ and always keep one in my purse for when I’m on-the-go. I bought these to benefit my own health (by not consuming BPAs present in plastic straws), eliminate my waste, and contribute to a cleaner/safer environment. #savetheturtles

4. Tongue Scraper
Sorry if this one’s a little weird… but I am so loving this handy little tool right now. I’ve heard all the fuss about these tongue scrapers and how they make all the difference in your oral health and decided to try it out for myself. I’ve been really dedicated to my oral health routine lately and this little thing makes such a difference in making my mouth feel fresh and clean. First I scrape my tongue, followed by flossing, brushing, rinsing with hydrogen peroxide, and rinsing with listerine.

5. Music
I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times) by Jamie xx, Young Thug, and Popcaan // This song gets me so hype. I love it. When the beat drops… phew. Chills. It’s awesome and one of my favorite songs to listen to when I’m feeling super happy and upbeat and feel like dancing (warning: the lyrics aren’t the most suitable for grandma to listen to).
Do it Like Me by Cobrayama and Gibbz // Just listen to the song… it’ll speak for itself.
Ocean Eyes by Billie Eilish // I’m obsessed with this song. I know it’s a little bit older, but I never get tired of it and it’s my sultry mood go-to song.
We Were Young by Petit Biscuit and JP Cooper // An EDM hook mixed with alternative vibes and lyrics everyone can relate to. What’s not to love?
Faster Car (Acoustic Version) by Loving Caliber // I’m hooked. The instrumentals really make this song and the lyrics deserve 1,000 “AMEN’S!”
Nervous (The Ooh Song/Mark McCabe Remix) by Gavin James and Mark McCabe // The most amazing vocals and melody I’ve ever heard. I could listen to this on repeat forever. This will definitely be on my wedding playlist.
Keep it Moving by Alex Newell // I’ve dedicated this as my life anthem. The beat is insanely awesome and the lyrics just make it a million times better.
September by Throttle and Earth, Wind, & Fire // If you can sit still while listening to this song without bobbing your head or rocking your shoulders side-to-side… who even are you. I don’t trust you. This is such an amazing remix on a classic song. A must on any upbeat playlist.
6. Bath and Body Works Candles
Not only am I a crazy mug lady, but I’m also a crazy candle lady. I have one in every room of my house and if I’m at home, you better believe there’s gonna be some candles burning. Usually I buy my candles discounted at stores like TJ Maxx or Marhsall’s, but I have to take advantage when Bath and Body Works has a sale. My current favorites from there are linked below. Ugh… I wish I could virtually send you a scratch-n-sniff so you can smell how amazing they are. If you happen to be going to a Bath and Body Works store soon, try them out! Andddd I mean just look at that amazing aesthetic - I love the look of these candles and how pretty they are!

7. Ellia Ultrasonic Essential Oils Diffuser
I’m all about the smell-goods. My mom got me this aroma diffuser for Christmas from Costco and I have been IN LOVE with it ever since. It’s an essential oil diffuser that plays relaxation/meditation music and has a color-changing light inside. It’s so soothing and perfect for meditating, studying, or just livening up a room. The colorful lighting makes it so aesthetically pleasing and can instantly make an entire room smell like heaven. It came with two essential oils (orange and eucalyptus), but my mom also got me a huge essential oil ‘starter kit’ with all the best types of oils out there.
8. Axio LifeVantage Energy Powder
So I actually had a friend send this to me to try. We’re both volleyball officials and I have a big collegiate season ahead of me this fall, as I will begin my first year working for the Southeastern Conference (SEC)! Axio LifeVantage is a company with natural and clean energy products that are great for mental focus and clarity. He sent me two different flavors to try - one bag of the dragonfruit and one of the red raspberry (decaf) to help me zero in and be on my game *literally* for my matches. They both taste AMAZING and although I’m cheating a little bit and haven’t actually used them for volleyball yet *haha oops*, they’ve been great to get back on track for PT school since I had the whole summer off.

9. Grocery Organizer/Cooler
This grocery organizer/cooler has got to be one of the coolest inventions ever. It starts out as a little tote-sized carrier with a handle that is closed with velcro straps. There are pockets on the outside on both sides for extra storage. After you open it up, it expands into a 3-compartment wide organizer that is perfect for grocery shopping! I always leave it in my car so it’s handy when I need to make a trip to the store. Not only does it keep everything organized in one place and maintain the cool temperature of frozen or refrigerated items, but it also reduces waste by eliminating the need for plastic or paper grocery bags. My mom got it for me from Sam’s Club and it came with another little flexible insulated cooler with a pocket on the outside and carrying handle on the top.
10. Anatomy Posters
Had to save the best for last. I got these anatomy posters from Amazon and it’s probably the best and most exciting purchase I’ve ever made in my entire life. They came in a pack of 10, including the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, nervous, endocrine, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, and female/male reproductive systems. They are 18”x27”, double-sided (so you can hang them vertically or horizontally), laminated, and super good quality! I hung some up in my office/study room and they make the perfect decor and easily accessible study tools. I only hung up four because they’re pretty big, but I have the others handy next to my desk whenever I need to reference them!
